Projects, included in second phase of selection procedure under NGO call for proposals
Regional Environmental Centre (REC Slovenia) and the Centre for Information Service, Cooperation and Development of NGOs (CNVOS) – the entities chosen by the Financial Mechanism Office and Norway to implement the NGO programme and to manage the NGO Fund – published the list of projects which are included in the second phase of the selection procedure under the call for proposals for medium-sized and major projects for NGOs. Altogether 63 applications, which were awarded the highest score, were included in the second phase of the selection procedure, namely project ideas for 30 major and 33 medium-sized projects.
365 project ideas were submitted by the deadline for the submission of applications under the call for proposals. 33 applications did not fulfil the eligibility criteria and administrative adequacy and were excluded from further evaluation. Therefore, altogether 332 project ideas were evaluated: 27 in the area of democracy, 23 in the area of human rights, 88 in the area of social equality, 43 in the area of social rights, 95 in the area of children and youth and 56 in the area of environmental protection. Under the call for proposals 1,275,000 euros is available – 637,500 euros for major projects and 637,500 euros for medium-sized projects. The overall amount of the applications submitted for major projects is 23,075,140.78 euros and 8,226,669.70 euros for medium-sized projects.
