Norway Grants
The Norway Grants represented €567 million in funding allocated to Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia between 2004 and 2009. In addition, Bulgaria and Romania received EUR 68 million from Norway through the Norwegian bilateral cooperation programmes after they joined the EU in 2007.
EEA Grants
Between 2004 and 2009, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway provided €672 million in EEA Grants to Bulgaria (since 2007), Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania (since 2007), Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain.
